Safety

Swimming pools are intended to provide many hours of enjoyment. Just as with any product, you and only you can only determine if your pool is used sensibly. The key to safe use of a product is being a sensible and informed consumer. As the pool owner, it is your responsibility to become familiar with pool hazards, supervise all activities as they occur in and around your pool, and provide adequate education to all users prior to them using your pool.

With the many joys and benefits of owning a pool also come certain responsibilities for the safety of your family and guests. Safety in and around your pool is extremely important. We would like to help educate you in pool, spa and hot tub safety; however we must note that RESPONSIBLE ADULT SUPERVISION IS MANDATORY AT ALL TIMES.

Please refer to the following safety documents and publications that are for the most part produced by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) such as:

  1. The Sensible Way to Enjoy Your In-ground Pool
  2. Keeping Kids Safe Around Water at Home
  3. Children Aren't Waterproof
  4. Layers of Protection
  5. Plan Your Dive
  6. Spa Hot Tub Safety
